Overview
Estrela is a toy manufacturer in Brazil. The company was founded in São Paulo in 1937, when it started producing dolls and wooden toy cars. In 1944 it became a publicly traded corporation.
Headquartered in São Paulo, Brazil, beginning in 1988 they produced figures (locally) under the Coleção Super Powers brand. Notable because although Kenner's domestic 'series three' figures did not come with mini-comics, at least some of their Estrela counterparts did (Cyborg, Plastic Man, Shazam!).
