In addition to his standard carded retail release, vintage Kenner Super Powers Flash figures survive in clear factory polybags printed with a blue Kenner logo and “MADE IN HONG KONG.” The configuration received strong provenance in November 2024, when Heritage Auctions sold Kenner factory case 85962300, containing 432 unused bagged Flash figures, for $2,312.50. Although commonly advertised by sellers as a “mail-away Flash,” no period Kenner Flash redemption offer is presently documented; surviving packaging instead identifies Steppenwolf and Clark Kent as the line's official mail-away figures. The bagged Flash is therefore best cataloged as a factory-baggie/overstock variation, probably associated with late-line clearance, discount or promotional distribution. Whether all original Flash bags were heat-sealed remains unresolved, as Heritage described its case contents as sealed while documented overstock sellers report open factory bags.
