Welcome to the Super Powers Collection Archive

August 14, 2026 · By Don Hansen

Welcome to the Super Powers Collection Archive — a growing reference dedicated to one of the most memorable action-figure lines of the 1980s.

Welcome everyone!

Kenner’s Super Powers Collection was more than just another line of DC Comics figures. From its debut in 1984 through its final releases in 1986, the collection brought an incredible lineup of DC heroes and villains to toy shelves, combining classic character designs with Kenner’s trademark action features. For many collectors, these figures were their first introduction to characters like Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Darkseid, Brainiac, and dozens of others.

This archive was created to document that history as completely as possible. Here you'll find character information, release details, cardbacks, accessories, variations, international releases, production differences, prototypes, and the countless small details that make collecting Super Powers so fascinating. The goal isn't simply to show the figures, but to preserve the history behind them.

The collection has been studied and documented for decades, but there are still mysteries, variations, and production details waiting to be uncovered. As this archive continues to grow, new information, photographs, comparisons, and discoveries will be added to help build the most comprehensive resource possible for collectors and fans.

Whether you're a longtime collector, just discovering Super Powers, or simply remember these figures from the toy aisle in the 1980s, welcome.

The archive is open. Let's document the collection.

Thanks!
