Released as part of Kenner's 1985 Super Powers Collection, Darkseid introduced DC's ultimate tyrant to the toy line in his classic blue tunic, gray armor, and stone-like visage inspired by José Luis García-López's artwork. Activating his Power Action Punch caused both arms to swing forward in a crushing attack worthy of the ruler of Apokolips. Packaged with a mini-comic and collector card, Darkseid quickly became one of the line's defining villains and remains one of the most iconic Super Powers figures ever produced.
