Released as part of the 1985 Super Powers Collection, Mantis introduced one of Darkseid's elite servants to the line in his distinctive green-and-yellow insect-inspired armor. His action feature swung both arms forward in an aggressive attack, matching the character's relentless combat style from Jack Kirby's Fourth World saga. Mantis remains one of the more unusual figures in the series and is especially appreciated by collectors seeking to complete the New Gods lineup.
