The Joker is one of the most characterful sculpts of the first wave, decked out in his classic purple suit, green vest and chalk-white grinning face. His Power Action Madcap Mallet feature is triggered by squeezing his legs together, swinging his arm and the oversized green mallet in a comedic overhead strike. Uniquely among Wave 1 figures, the Joker also has a detachable plastic lower coat tail that is very often missing. Between the mallet and the coat tail, a truly complete loose Joker takes real hunting.
The oversized green mallet is the Joker's defining accessory and the piece the entire action feature is built around.
A 16-page full-color mini-comic was packaged with every carded Joker.
Collector's Notes:
The mallet and coat tail is very commonly missing.
Reproductions mallets are widespread; originals tend to have a duller green and softer mold seams than the modern castings.
